Kemba Nelson finishes 2nd in the women’s NCAA 100M final will a time of 11.05.   Kemba Nelson finished second in the 100 meters, after helping the University of Oregon women take third in the 4x100 relay. Nelson finished second in the 100 to Julien Alfred of Texas by five one-thousandths of a second. As the first track and field league of its kind, the Canadian Track and Field League brings together athletes from across the country as they compete for the championship. The Division I champions will be crowned in 14 men's outdoor track and field events Friday in the third day of the four-day NCAA championships in Eugene, Ore., starting with the high-jump final at 5:30 p.m. PT. At the conclusion of the day, there will be a 2022 men's outdoor track and field champion. Tennessee leads men's scoring entering the final day of men's competition.    Who is Abby Steiner? Abby Steiner born November 24, 1999, is an American track and field sprinter. She holds personal records of 10.90 over 100m and 22.02 over 200m. Steiner holds the indoor 200m American record with a time of 22.09 seconds. Abby Steiner broke the collegiate record in the 200m for the first time at NCAA Championships in 2021 when she tied Thomas's then-collegiate record of 22.38 for her first national title. She's already one of the most-decorated athletes in UK Athletics history, but there's one major accomplishment she’s still chasing.
